Buying a Camping Tent

As long as you aware of the advantages and disadvantages associated with the various types then you are one step away from having the perfect tent.
The first determining factor would be the size of the tent. Depending on the number of persons that you want to have in each tent the choice in size will vary. This will cut down on the number of tents that you have to look at as well. So decide how comfortable you want to be and narrow down the search a bit.
The next thing to consider is the weight of the tent. If it is a case in which you will be hiking or backpacking through the woods then you would not want a heavy tent to lug around. It should be easy to pull down, fold up and carry and set up in the next location. The easiest type to do all this is the dome tent so you can narrow down your search even more and find a convenient size in that category if hiking is on your agenda.
The Rottweiler Dog Breed

The Rottweiler definitely knows their own mind and needs firm training but when raised with love and patience, they make an obedient companion. One who is both tranquil and affectionate.
They are a serious dog, who all too often, is bought and ill trained by novice dog owners. Rottweiler owners should be experienced with dogs and be dedicated enough to ensure proper training, socialization and exercise for this dog’s entire life. This is an extremely intelligent dog, who with firm but fair training can easily become a good reliable canine citizen. They are very biddable and eager to work.
The irresponsibility of humans has been the downfall of the Rottweiler not the Rottweiler himself. When raised properly the Rottweiler is a calm quiet good-natured dog, full of love and very loyal to their family. They can be rather standoffish with strangers and does not make friends with just anybody. They are alert and courageous and able to make their own decisions when needed, making them an excellent and reliable home guardian.
A Mexican Among Anglo-Saxons (The Story of Theodore)

A brother. Many of us have one. Some of us have several. Those of you, who do not have a brother, have missed something special. I have two but this is the tale of the weirdest one, Teddy. We are a Scottish/Irish family and my siblings and I grew up in the picturesque anglo-saxon town of Mexico, Maine. All of us grew up there and as expected received good anglo-saxon names. Until 1956.
During the spring of fifty-six, Father Andre Theodore was on loan to our local catholic church from the diocese of Mexico City, Mexico. It was the day following St Patrick’s Day and Father Theodore was outside St Theresa’s Holy Trinity Church tending to a patch of wildflowers that the church had been blessed with. His attention on the flowers was interrupted by the flight path of a bright orange Chevrolet as it left Roxbury Road, jumped the curb and was now looking to land on St Theresa’s non-existing runway, bringing it dangerously close to the wildflowers and one now-wildeyed Mexican padre. At the wheel was my dad; who it turns out was not quite the jack-of-all-trades the local townsfolk had come to view him as. Seems the chink in his armor was a less than perfect knowledge and lack of experience in the act of childbirth. Sitting next to this would-be pilot of Chevrolet avionics was my very Irish mother, who had allow her water to burst three damn weeks early. Irish women have such tormenting nerves.
Some of My Favorite Ways to Relxax That Will Hopefully Help You do The Same

There are many ways to relax and everyone has their own things they do to relax. I have many. Some of my methods of relaxation may not sound very relaxing but the more I am doing and the more productive I am, the more relaxed I am! One of my favorite ways to relax is to cuddle up somewhere with a good book. Sometimes I will run a hot bubble bath and do my reading there but most times I curl up on the couch or in bed and read. In the summer, I often take a book to the park and read outside. My next favorite way to relax is by working on my writing. I write poems, non-fiction or just work on my blog. No matter what I am writing, I’m relaxed when I am doing it.
A while back, I bought my first digital camera so I could take pictures to go along with my writing. Since than, photography has become an obsession for me. My camera comes everywhere with me and I find it relaxing to just take it out and learn new techniques to take better pictures.
How To Avoid a Bear Encounter

There is hardly a hiker or backpacker alive who looks forward to a close encounter with a bear in the wilderness. It’s a safe bet that every outdoors enthusiast, at one time or another, has imagined what it would be like to encounter a bear in the wild, and what they would do in the event of a bear encounter. Since prevention is worth a pound of cure, as the old saying goes, the best way to deal with a bear encounter is to avoid one in the first place. Here’s how to do it.
1. Leave your food at home. Bears have a highly-developed sense of smell, so unless you are going to be in the wilderness for several hours or more, leave your food at home. There are lots of hikers and backpackers who lug around enough food to feed a small army. By leaving your food at home, you not only reduce the likelihood of a bear encounter, you lessen your load as well.
